Stamford is one of my favourite places in the area, and somewhere I visit often. Not in Rutland, it's around 20-minute drive from Uppingham or Oakham.
The Cosy Club has been one of my favourite places in the area for lunch or dinner for a while now. So when they asked if I'd like to come and try their new cocktail and food menus, I was very happy to do so.

If you have not visited Cosy Club before, it's situation between Red Lion Square and Sheep Market in Stamford, Lincs. You can enter from Sheep Market or the alleyway from Red Lion Square.
The decor in Cosy Club is right up my street. It's very eclectic with rustic, industrial, retro and vintage furniture and accessories which make their restaurants really memorable and ironically, 'cosy'.

A very child and dog-friendly restaurant with something for everyone. Their menu offers everything from an all-day breakfast, traditional English 'pub grub' to something a little more unique. With a large selection of tapas dishes, paninis, burgers and more.

My favourite thing about Cosy Club is their Mojitos, which I'll always order whatever the time of day because they're so delicious and the best Mojitos I've ever had!
(But don't worry, they offer a non-alcoholic option too, so if you are driving you can still indulge in the gorgeous refreshing flavours).

Our table was booked for 1:00pm and we began with an orange juice each and of course a Mojito! The restaurant itself is always very busy. Although you can usually drop in without booking because they have many different seating arrangments from sofas, dining tables, breakfast bars and more.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and it's clear that Cosy Club is a popular destination at the weekend for families with their children of all ages. They offer colouring and a few games for children which keep them entertained. The menu is also very child-friendly too, and whatever their preference there is everything from a falafel mezze, to a cheeseburger.

Because of the amount of occupied tables our food did take a little while to arrive. However I'm okay with that providing it arrives hot and fresh - which it absolutely did.
Tom ordered his favourite, eggs and bacon on toast, which is the perfect brunch.

I ordered the Courgette, Pea & Edamame Bean Risotto which arrived in an amazing portion for the £7.95 price. I particular liked the addition of the rocket salad. Although I actually would have preferred it without the edamame beans which were very hard in texture and overpowered the dish a little.
Next time I think I'll order my usual, Falafel, Hummus & Avocado Sandwich, it's divine - everytime.

One more thing I just can't resist when I visit Cosy Club, is their fries - they are amazing.
You can also swap any normal fries for sweet potato fries on any dish, wish I sometimes do too.

Overall, the Cosy Club experience is always a pleasure and you can guarantee to leave feeling full and refreshed, without breaking the bank.
Cosy Club's prices are extremely reasonable for the friendly service and good food you receive. I personally enjoy an evening meal at Cosy Club because the atmosphere is fabulous and it's the perfect location for a party or family get-together.

I would highly recommend visiting in the daytime with your family, dog and children for a lovely afternoon in a beautiful restaurant with fun decor and attentive staff. A why not take a stroll around one of my favourite towns that is Stamford afterwards.
I recommend visiting the Stamford Corn Exchange Shopping Arcade which hosts independent retails shops and stalls. As well as the all-new Sophie Allport shop and the very addictive, Cook Shop for all your favourite kitchen essentials.
